Verify Report Authenticity
Understand how to ensure the integrity of a BIP Vigilance report.
What is verification for?
Verification ensures that a BIP Vigilance report has not been modified since its generation. It's a technical guarantee of the document's integrity.
Cryptographic sealing
Each report is protected by a cryptographic sealing mechanism that guarantees its authenticity:
- SHA-256 hash: unique digital fingerprint of the content
- Asymmetric signature via AWS KMS
- Precise timestamp at the time of generation
The role of the QR code
Each PDF report contains a QR code that points to a public verification page. This page allows you to confirm the document's authenticity.
How to verify?
- Scan the QR code on the PDF report
- Access the verification page
- Compare the displayed information with the report
Legal limitations
It's important to understand what a BIP Vigilance report is not:
- •This is not an official administrative certificate
- •This is not a document enforceable against third parties
- •This does not substitute for the principal's legal obligations
